HT steel is only about 80-85% as resistant as WWII US Navy homogeneous STS armor.  Being generous and using the 85% level, this means that the 26mm HT = 22.1mm (0.87") STS, the 69mm HT = 58.7mm...

As I said, standard VH was never made that thin. In fact, it was a unique form non-cemented KC armor and the only one that was fully successful, with Bethlehem Non-Cemented prior to WWI being no more...
